After serious consideration, Delta Health has decided to close the Delta Health Urgent Care Clinic and the West Elk Paonia Walk-in Clinic. The clinics will remain open until July 21, 2021, unless our staff, who will be displaced, find other employment in which case the clinics could close sooner.
This past year, the pandemic has had a tremendous impact on the hospital systems and overall operations. The services that are offered at the Urgent Care and West Elk Paonia Clinic will be absorbed in Delta Health’s other primary care clinics.
“The administrative team has been strategizing and examining all areas of operations to come up with sustainable financial solution for the organization while still meeting the needs of the community,” states Matt Heyn, Delta Health CEO. “Our plan is still evolving, but to maintain a quality healthcare system for our County, there are some hard decisions that have to be made.”
Signs will be posted on the clinic doors to notify of any change in clinic hours or early closures. Please consider calling the clinic before arriving.

To keep access to same-day care, starting July 22, 2021, Delta Health Family Medicine and Delta Health Pediatrics in Delta and Delta Health West Elk Hotchkiss Clinic in Hotchkiss will have same-day appointments.
