Delta, CO (December 31, 2025) – Delta Health is proud to recognize Delta Health Foundation for their transformative contributions throughout 2025. Through the dedication of its volunteer Board of Directors and the generosity of the community, the Foundation can help ensure that Delta Health remains Delta County’s first choice for accessible, high-quality healthcare, close to home.
Since its inception in 2001, Delta Health Foundation has been a cornerstone of local medical advancement through its support of Delta Health. This year, that legacy continued with three major initiatives:
- Advancing Diagnostic Capabilities: The Foundation funded a state-of-the-art Fluoroscopy and X-ray unit. This investment brings cutting-edge imaging technology to Delta Health, allowing for more precise diagnostics and enhanced patient outcomes.
- Investing in Delta Health Employees: Education remains a priority, with the Foundation awarding 18 scholarships for continuing education this year. This brings the Foundation’s historic total to hundreds of scholarships awarded to students, nurses, doctors, EMTs, and medical coders since 2001.
- Enhancing Pediatric Safety: In a critical move for emergency services, the Foundation provided essential infant transport units for the Delta County Ambulance District, ensuring the safest possible transit for our youngest and most vulnerable patients.
