Delta Health Receives Telehealth Grant from Rocky Mountain Health Foundation

Aug 18, 2020News

Delta, CO (August 18, 2020) – Delta Health (Delta Health) is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000 grant from the Rocky Mountain Health Foundation (RMHF). These funds will support additional telehealth equipment for the Delta Health hospital and its clinics throughout Delta County.

The additional telehealth equipment will help meet the growing need for patients to have the option to connect virtually with their providers. Throughout the pandemic, Delta Health has continued providing safe, high-quality health care services to the community, and this grant will allow them to expand their telehealth options for patients.

“As we continue to adapt and grow, our top priority remains the health and safety of our patients, staff and community members,” said Matt Heyn, CEO for Delta Health. “We are thrilled to be able to continue offering telehealth services to our patients, and we are thankful to the RMHF for the grant.”

With the mission of improving the overall health of a community, Rocky Mountain Health Foundation serves 22 Western Slope counties.  The Foundation addresses some of the Western Slope’s most pressing health needs, including access to healthcare, hunger, transportation to/from medical treatments, and integrated behavioral health.  More information can be found at https://rmhealth.org/.

Currently, telehealth services are available for patients at all Delta Health Primary Care Clinics. To learn more about the telehealth options available at Delta Health, visit deltahealthco.org.
