Delta, CO (April 25, 2025) –Delta Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Rice as Executive Director of Human Resources (HR), a dedicated HR professional with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit and clinical settings. Katie brings strategic leadership focused on enhancing workplace culture and employee experience, across the organization.

As a Delta resident, the renewal of the Delta Health brand in the community has been exciting to see.”
Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Communications from Western Baptist College in Salem, Oregon, before transitioning into HR in 2010. She started as an Office Manager/HR Manager at a teen recovery center in the Florida Panhandle. She also worked as the Director of Human Resources at Chautauqua Healthcare Services in Florida. Once Katie realized her passion for human resources, she decided to further her education, earning a Master’s in Business Administration in HR from Corban University.

In 2018, Katie and her family relocated to the Western Slope of Colorado, where she has continued to serve in various HR roles.
