Delta, CO (April 1, 2024) – In honor of National Hospital Week in May, Delta Health is excited to announce the #WeAreHealthcare: Color the Campus Color Run 1k and 3k (give or take) happening on Thursday, May 16 at 5:00 p.m. This is a colorful and spirited event to celebrate hospital employees’ dedication and hard work.
The event will take place at 1501 E. 3rd Street, in front of Building C (the Oncology building). Participants can choose between a 1K or 3K (give or take) run/walk route. The event cost is $25.00 for individuals aged 12 and over and $15.00 for children under the age of 12.
“It’s an opportunity to come together and show appreciation for healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to keep our community healthy and safe,” said Jacque Davis, Delta Health Marketing and Communications Director. We hope community members come and join us in celebrating National Hospital Week.”
Participants who pre-register will be given a special “#WeAreHealthcare” Color Run t-shirt to showcase the bright colors that will be thrown throughout the run/walk. Participants are encouraged to wear colored headbands, pants, socks, or tutus to add to the vibrancy and fun of the event. Following the Color Run there will also be music and food.
The Color the Campus event promises to be a joyful occasion for the whole community, featuring a vibrant atmosphere filled with colors, laughter, and fun. This event is not only about promoting health and wellness but also about shining a light on our hospital community and the staff who dedicate their lives to providing remarkable care.
