Health Department Donates 50 Tobacco Free Signs

Jolyne Young, Health Educator with Delta County Health Department donated 50 customized tobacco-free signs to George Baier, Manager of Operational Services at Delta Health, as part of a grant through the State Tobacco Education & Prevention Partnership (STEPP). The signs indicate no cigarettes, vaping or chew are allowed on the Tobacco Free campus of the hospital, or it any of its 10 clinics in Delta, Cedaredge, Hotchkiss and Paonia.

We commend Delta Health for their comprehensive policy work and we are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen enforcement with updated signage.
